Welcome to Hoʻopili
About Hoʻopili
According to the Hawaiian Dictionary, hoʻopili means “to bring together, stick; to attach oneself to a person; united, as friends; to mimic, imitate; to claim a relationship; to put together, as parts of a puzzle.” The purpose of this event is to welcome you to the campus through engagement activities and meaningful interactions with other students, faculty, and staff. Hoʻopili is mandatory for all first-time college students, and due to current circumstances will be offered both virtually and in-person. At the event you will experience Kapi‘olani CC and:
-
Be introduced to Title IX and Student Conduct Policies
-
Learn about Student Life on campus, such as clubs, job opportunities, and leadership positions
-
Attend workshops to help prepare for college
-
Learn more about Kapi‘olani’s programs and services
Hoʻopili will run from August 4th through September 16th, for the Fall 2022 semester. We can't wait to meet you!
