New Student Orientation (NSO)

NSO is mandatory for all first-year students entering Kapiʻolani, including those students that participated in Dual Credit in high school. NSO consists of three parts: Pre-Advising, Advising & Registration (where you register for classes), and Hoʻopili. Please don't delay in getting started!

1

You will need to complete your pre-advising before you can register for classes. This step includes taking placement tests and submitting your health clearances.

2

Advising & Registration

In this session, you will meet with our counselors and get more information about what classes you can take. We will also help you register for classes! Check you email for updates about this step.
